What we collect and why
Contact enquiries
When you use our contact form or email us, we process the details you provide — typically your name, email address, company, and the content of your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and to manage any resulting business relationship.
- Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and (f)).
- Retention: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, where a business relationship follows, for as long as required to service it and to meet Danish bookkeeping obligations. Otherwise deleted when no longer needed.
Server logs and analytics
Our web server keeps standard access logs (such as IP address, timestamp, requested page, and browser type) to keep the site secure and to understand traffic. Any analytics we run are cookie-free and self-hosted on our own EU infrastructure — we derive aggregate statistics from these server logs and do not load any third-party analytics script into your browser.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and operation of the site (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- Retention: logs are rotated and retained only for a limited period for security and operational purposes.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no marketing or analytics cookies and embeds no third-party trackers. Fonts, scripts, and assets are served from our own infrastructure, not from external content-delivery networks.
Where your data is processed
Your data is stored and processed on infrastructure we operate within the EU/EEA. We do not transfer your personal data to third countries.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We may share data only where necessary to deliver a service you have requested, or where required by law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@nordiciot.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).
